Malls in Constanta II

We continue with the ongoing shopping mall projects in Constanta.










Let's begin with Maritimo Shopping Center which will be finished by the end of 2011.
With 50,000 mp, it will be untill 2012 the biggest mall in Constanta. It is located in the northern part of the city on the Aurel Vlaicu Boulevard. C&A, New Yorker, H&M, Decathlon, Inditex Group (Zara, Bershka, Stradivarius, Oysho, Pull & Bear, Massimo Dutti, etc) have announced their presence along others.

In 2012, this unit located at the Soveja and I.C. Bratianu Blvd. crossroads will be the biggest mall in Constanta with 150.000 mp ! I am really looking forward on this one.





WTCC is located in the city center between Gates 2 and 3. It will be an awesome complex with 3 towers including a Harborside Hotel, Institute of Contemporary Arts and a 8000 seats Concert Arena ! 
Date of completion: 2014



These are all projects under construction.

Now there are 3 more projects for shopping centers in the city.

The biggest chances of becoming a reality is Seaside Shopping Park located in the Southern Part of the City along Mangaliei Road. The roundabout for access it's under construction.

  
Plaza Centers also has announced the plans for opening a new unit in Constanta with the works starting next year. The land has been obtained.


Bogaris Marina Park Mall. it is an ambitious project including housing & retail. It is located near City Park Mall and the main attraction will be the 2x25 floors towers.



425 Tomis Plus Mall is located in the northern suburbia near between Ovidiu Town and Constanta's Palazu Mare quarter.

  1. Nu vreau sa te dezamagesc dar sunt 2 puncte cu noutati cam triste :(

    1-Seaside in cazul in care se va mai face (foarte slabe sanse sa miste ceva anul asta), va fi un park de retail, PUZ-ul aprobat nu mai e valabil. Adica va fi un hypermarket Auchan cu galerie comerciala gen REAL 1, un Decathlon si un LeRoy Merlin.

    2-Marina Park nu cred ca se va mai realiza proiectul intrucat luna asta le expira avizele si nu au venit sa le innoiasca, aici e un mic conflict, ei doreau sa se apuce de mall si cele 2 turnuri si au spus ca vor face infrastructura doar pt aceasta etapa, iar Decebal nu ii lasa sa inceapa pana nu trag infrastructura pe tot terenul, asa ca avem un impas.
    3-425 Mall nu e ceva spectaculos, e cam cat brick mall.
    4-in schim in scurt timp incep lucrarile la extinderea City Park-lucrul acesta mi-a fost confirmat de Elan S.

  2. Multumesc pentru noutati :)

    1. Eu cred ca se va face pana la urma Seaside, altfel nu vad rostul de ce Property Two Development ar construi un sens giratoriu acolo, si in plus de asta de ce si-ar pune Atrium Real Estate sigla pe plansa cu santier in lucru ? Oricum va fi ceva mai complex decat Real, cu mai multe galerii, etc.

    2. Singura mea speranta era legata de stirea ca MACE Group urma sa dezvolte proiectul, dar intr-adevar era cam SF :)

    3. De 425 Mall doar am adus aminte ca sa trec in revista daca tot vorbeam de mall-uri. Nu prea imi trezeste interes.

    In concluzie: Maritimo, Corall, WTC sunt certitudini, iar Seaside & Plaza sunt si ele aproape de adevar. Stau si ma gandesc daca nu sunt unul si acelasi lucru. Hmmm :D

    E vorba de o extindere pe faze ? Sau dau drumul si la turnuri ? :D

  4. Am postat pe blog despre City, mi-a dat Elan un mini interviu. Incepe in cateva luni extinderea mall-ului si pana la sfarsitul anului incepe si turnurile, are deja chirias pt hotel. :)
    Seaside se va face insa daca e sa miste ceva o sa fie prin toamna.

  6. Yeah, well.. those were the information and datas available at the moment I wrote this article. In the meantime the completion date was delayed to May 2013 (I hopre I'm not wrong) and the building itself reduced in size and modified in appearance, ex: the large media screen on the main gate was removed, etc.
